 Jonathan Calof
Jonathan Calof is a recognized leader in competitive intelligence. An Associate Professor of International Business and Strategy at the University of Ottawa, a Director of INTRAN (Intelligence Teaching and Research Academic Network), a global intelligence network, and Board member for CASIS (Canadian Association of Security and Intelligence Studies), Jonathan has given over 1000 speeches, seminars and keynote addresses around the world on competitive intelligence and has helped several companies and government agencies around the world enhance their intelligence capabilities.

In recognition of his contribution to the competitive intelligence field, Jonathan was presented with Frost and Sullivan’s life time achievement award for competitive intelligence and the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professional's (SCIP) Catalyst award. Interest in his work has also resulted in several interviews on radio and in print around the world including Canada, United States, Mexico, Singapore, China, United Kingdom, France, Germany, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, New Zealand and more. He has been featured in such national publications as Forbes, Business Week, CIO Magazine, Financial Times, The National Post, Globe and Mail, Canadian Business, and others. A
n article in the Edmontonian called him "one of the world leaders in competitive intelligence". While CA Magazine (Charters Accountants) described him as "a highly sought after, as a consultant, by businesses and government agencies.”

Jonathan is a prolific author with over 150 publications to his credit. As well, Jonathan is the author of several books on competitive intelligence including the Competitive Intelligence Foundation’s Conference and Trade Show Intelligence. He also pens a column on event intelligence for competitive intelligence magazine. Dr. Calof also serves on the editorial board of several publications including Journal of Competitive Intelligence and Management, Journal of Small Business Management and is also an associate editor for Executive Magazine.

 Michel Iwochewitsch
Michel Iwochewitsch is an associate director of the consulting firm STRATECO specializing in strategic intelligence and information security. He trains European decision makers (Euro Stoxx 50) in the field of competitive intelligence (CI) & strategic problems. Previously, he was a project director in the CI firm ADIT, in charge of the strategic CI projects for the CAC40 companies. Michel is vice-president and founding member of the think tank “Analystes & Decideurs,” which studies the relationships between decision makers and intelligence analysts.
 
Associate professor in the biggest European CI school EGE, he is in charge of the CI methodology transfer to the professional French CI community. Michel is a CI professor (analysis, human collection) in the master IEKM from the European business school CERAM. He is also a lecturer on human collection and information security process for the European think tank Institut d’Etudes et de Recherche pour la Sécurité des Entreprises. He has written in the Cahiers de la Sécurité, a publication of the think tank Institut National des Hautes Études de Sécurité, and in Usine Nouvelle, a French publication specialized for small and medium companies.

 Pierre Memheld
Pierre is a CI consultant for 8 years: after several years in a french leading consultancy, he has now created his own consultancy, Ex Humano. His experiences includes multiple sectors focusing on aerospace and defence, transport and services, as energy. He allies competitive intelligence with networks' analyses and intelligence software practice with "on the field" work.

Pierre is graduated from two historical competitive intelligence and technology monitoring diplomas in France. he has worked for multinational companies in Europe, in South America and South Asia with a focus on India. He's involved in competitive intelligence trainings, either for students or executives and now specializes himself on decision making mapping and trade show intelligence.

 Kent Potter
Kent Potter is a founder and director of The Bennion Group, an umbrella organization that includes multiple companies focusing on various aspects of strategic influence and competitive intelligence. Mr. Potter has more than 20 years of experience in intelligence, strategy, planning, and consulting and is a frequent speaker and writer on the subjects of business strategy, business intelligence, scenario planning, wargaming, and related concepts.

He has consulted in intelligence process diagnosis, design and development for over 30 companies, across a broad range of industries and on four continents. His industry experience includes consumer products, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, telecommunications, heavy manufacturing, chemicals, high technology, energy, and financial services. A former principal of Fuld & Company and of the Phoenix Consulting Group, he started the intelligence process consulting practice at both companies. He is also the former head of the BellSouth Intelligence Resource Group, and established intelligence programs and market intelligence programs at BellSouth.

Previous to his work at BellSouth, Mr. Potter served as Director of Marketing for two mid-sized software and systems integration companies. He also served as an Army Intelligence Officer. Mr. Potter has participated in or conducted several studies of intelligence process development and management within large multinational companies. Mr. Potter is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Utah (B.A.) and Johns Hopkins University (Master of Administrative Science).
